raptodia
A sewing machine made of cross-stitches, for an atelier that sews. Logo, palette and every file, in three meetings.
Three meetings,
one logo.
The whole process survived. Follow the thread: every knot is a meeting with the client and what I brought to it.
First sketches
Four ideas for a symbol (an embroidery frame, sewing machine silhouettes, a semicircle), six typefaces and two palettes.
Cross-stitch
The sewing machine becomes embroidery: five cross-stitch versions, and the typeface in different weights.
Details
The machine gets cleaner, the logo is tested on four backgrounds and the O gets a double line. We also tried a button, a pincushion and a flower made of safety pins. The double Ò won.
The cross-stitch sewing machine, with its thread, and RAPTODÌA with the double O and the accent on the I.
Five spools.
The palette, with its names. Hover over them and they unwind.
